The Team
The Electric Canvas brings energy, creativity and invaluable know-how to every project we work on.
Our dedicated and tight-knit team comprises designers, technicians, artists, developers, producers and musicians, all of whom are passionate about the transformative power of projection.
The stories we tell, the experiences we create and the memories we help forge are the result of skilfully blending technology with artistic vision.
We pride ourselves on our ability to integrate professionally and seamlessly into the overall production process of an event, be it a festival “light up” in front of dozens of VIPs, or an Olympic Ceremony broadcast live to hundreds of millions of television viewers.

Our Clients
The Electric Canvas has had the pleasure of working with incredible people on some of Australia and the world’s most prestigious projects. Here’s what our clients are saying…
“With their extensive architectural awareness and power house of creative skill, The Electric Canvas in collaboration with our collective Club Ate, transformed the façade of the National Gallery of Australia into our fluid expressive narratives. With sensitivity they translated both existing work and collaborated on new material finding the full creative potential of our concepts. It’s such a particular skill to understand how art is read in this context and the company totally guided this process. We are grateful and blown away by the work!“
“Sovereign Hill’s 2019 Winter Wonderlights event was our sixth year of collaboration with The Electric Canvas. The level of product delivered is exceptional, supported by a talented production and technical staffing team. Their ability to bring to life Sovereign Hill’s creative briefs, and transform our challenging site into a magical world of colourful projections is a credit to the whole team. Their product continues to make our event a glowing success and we look forward to seeing what they come up with next.”
“The Electric Canvas has always been a pleasure to work with, providing both world class content alongside smooth and seamless operational delivery. Bringing our visions to life over the last five years, TEC have proven they are one of the best in the business.”
“The Electric Canvas team’s professionalism and unparalleled expertise, through the dedicate eye of Peter Milne, provided a confidence and reassurance which is rarely seen… I would happily recommend The Electric Canvas to anyone looking to deliver world class events and look forward to the chance to work with you again in the future.”
“In 2019 I underwent my most ambitious new media work to date at the National Gallery of Australia. Projected on to the outside of the building, this multi channel moving video work spanned an impressive 80 meters in length. I engaged with The Electric Canvas on this process and outcome. Using my artwork, the team at The Electric Canvas were able interpret and collaboratively manipulate the images into moving video art. Their expertise in outside projection and knowledge was incredible. Their technical abilities go above and beyond the standard projected images and the team at The Electric Canvas made it so easy to convey and concept ideas into a successful final product. I found the entire process professional, enjoyable and fascinating. If given the opportunity to work on this scale again, I would not hesitate in working with them again.”
“The Electric Canvas teamed up with Fox Sports throughout 2018/19. The content provided helped Fox Sports shape and promote it’s NRL, Motorsport, A-League and Cricket coverage. Peter and his team were great to work with and stop at nothing to produce excellent results.”
“Brookfield Properties would like to thank The Electric Canvas for our stunning circus themed projections at this year’s Winter Lights at Brookfield Place. We enjoy working with The Electric Canvas as they are highly creative, detailed and always produce results that are visually stunning.”
“I cannot thank you enough for the simply brilliant work you created for the Netball World Cup Opening Ceremony. Your work took the Ceremony to a place I know no one ever expected it to be, totally transforming the sports space into a unique and beautiful theatrical space, and the Ceremony would have been nowhere near what it was without TEC.”
